Management and development consulting for the cable industry
For expanding a plant, starting a line or entering a new market.

From power, network, telecom and fiber optic cable to specialist orders, advice and project documentation.
Beyond supplying cable, you can also talk to Barad about your needs in these four areas.

For expanding a plant, starting a line or entering a new market.

Checking the product and its paperwork for export orders.

Fiber optic network design, supply and installation, fitted to the project site.

Reviewing a solar system from the site details and the goal of the project.
Choose the group you need; its specifications, related products and a way to talk to the Barad team are all in one place.
01For a building or an industrial project, we choose cable by the circuit and the place it will be installed. Size is only part of the specification; the conductor material, insulation and sheath matter just as much in an order.
If you have a cable list or the project's specification sheet, send it to us and we will go through the items and whether we can supply them.
02Network cable for an office building, data center or industrial site has to suit that network and its installation route. At Barad we look at the models in this group for communications infrastructure requests.
Transmission category, shield construction and sheath material are the differences we pay attention to when choosing a model.
03For a copper telecom cable order we need the pair count and conductor diameter, along with the installation route and cable length. With those we check the model and whether we can supply it.
04In control and instrumentation circuits, the cable construction depends on the circuit and its surroundings. We set the shield type, insulation and sheath against the project specification and the product documents.
05Direct-buried, duct, aerial, drop and micro cables are different families of fiber optic cable. The type of route decides which one fits.
When you order, tell us the fiber count and type and the length of the route too. A family code alone does not give the full cable specification.
06In a solar project, the DC cable between panels and inverter and the AC cable do not have the same requirements. You can talk to Barad about choosing the cross-section and supplying cable for both sides.
In solar cable documents, properties such as resistance to UV, moisture and temperature swings matter. Requirements such as EN 50618, low smoke or halogen-free have to be confirmed for the specific model from the manufacturer's documents.
07For circuits such as emergency lighting and fire alarm and suppression systems, the cable specification is part of the project's safety requirements. Make the choice with the technical lead, based on test documents.
Resisting flame spread is not the same as keeping the circuit working during a fire. If a project asks for either, you need the test certificate for that exact model; the general label "fireproof cable" is not enough.
08If a standard cable does not meet the project's needs, a custom build can be discussed with the manufacturer. Barad coordinates the review and supply of such orders.
For this conversation we need the operating conditions of the cable, the installation environment and the client's requirements.
09Sometimes the equipment list or project specification itself needs a review before anything is bought. Share the technical and tender documents with Barad so we can discuss a technical and commercial proposal.
Give us the model name and the quantity you need, and we'll check specifications and supply.
